Working demonstration

Client submission, staff review, document delivery.

The Canopy Wills working demonstration follows that sequence. Your portal can use your own tasks, roles and terminology.

Step 1

Client submits instructions

Signed-in clients answer the relevant questions and can save their progress.

Step 2

Staff review the submission

The practitioner workspace shows submitted answers, review flags and the issue action.

Step 3

Documents are delivered

After staff issue a draft, the client can download the Word and PDF files.

Client submits instructions

Why a portal

Clearer client actions. Less repeated admin.

Clients know where to start

A guided task replaces a chain of instructions. Saved progress lets clients return when they are ready.

Staff see what needs review

Structured submissions and status make the handoff clearer than searching through separate email threads.

Delivered work is easy to find

Give clients a consistent place to check progress and access the documents your team has issued.

Quoted once we know the workflow you want in the first release.

These figures are a rough guide, calculated from the lower range of full-stack and cloud engineering rates. We quote the exact fixed price once we understand what needs to be built. Each project is set up on your own infrastructure. You own the code. The work is accelerated with AI engineering and reviewed by a software engineer.

Before you decide

A few good questions.

Is this only for legal firms?

No. Canopy Wills is one working example of a client/staff workflow. A custom portal uses your tasks, roles and terminology. If the portal already included in your CRM meets the need, we will recommend using it instead.

What does the demo not include?

Uploads, messaging and practice-system integrations are not demonstrated. Payment, vault, reminders and executor contact are mocks. The corrections loop is incomplete, and demo downloads may disappear on restart. Use fictional details only.

What needs to be agreed before launch?

Who can see each record, how access is revoked, what is retained, and how documents are stored and backed up. We scope privacy, permissions and operational testing before handling real client information. Demo access does not establish production readiness.

What does a custom portal cost?

A focused first release starts from $2,000 AUD for the items listed above. The exact price and timing are quoted once the workflow is clear. Third-party services have their own fees.

Which client interaction keeps repeating?

Tell us what clients need to do, what staff review and where progress gets lost. Describe the process, not confidential client information.
