vs Sophiie

Sophiie or a simpler voice
AI assistant?

Sophiie is a powerful option if you want a receptionist and a lot of office work handled in one platform. OwnStack starts with a smaller job: answer common questions and capture a confirmed enquiry. A simpler build can cost less, but it is not the same feature set.

When Sophiie makes sense

If you want AI answering calls and booking jobs, organising schedules, preparing quotes and invoices, and managing more of the office, Sophiie is worth looking at. Its advertised Growth plan brings together far more than message taking. Those extra capabilities can justify the spend when your business uses them.

We are comparing advertised capabilities, not claiming to have independently tested Sophiie’s product or service quality.

When the smaller assistant makes sense

You might not need another system to run your whole business. You might need a caller to hear the right service information, explain the job, and leave a confirmed enquiry while you finish what you’re doing.

That is OwnStack’s Voice AI agents service. Our working example currently serves OwnStack. It captures a request, confirms the details before saving, and can pass a confirmed enquiry with a name and email to our studio contact form. It reports when a save or handoff is not confirmed rather than pretending it worked.

It does not book real appointments, guarantee callbacks, transfer calls to staff, issue binding quotes, send invoices or provide a customer CRM. A version for your business needs its own information, privacy choices, handoff and acceptance tests.

About the roughly A$400/month comparison

Sophiie’s public information page, checked 26 October 2026, lists Growth at A$399/month + GST, with an A$800 + GST one-off setup fee. It lists 500 reception minutes and 400 phone-scribe minutes per month, and 30c/minute for overage, with prices excluding GST. This is not a claim that Growth is Sophiie’s cheapest plan.

During this review, the main pricing address redirected to the homepage. The information-page figures above are a reference, not a verified current offer. Get the current Australian plan, price and inclusions in writing before deciding. Don’t assume every feature mentioned on its website is included in every plan.

OwnStack’s aim is a cheaper, simpler assistant for the essential call flow, not a full Sophiie replacement at a made-up price. There is no published OwnStack voice-agent package price yet. We quote setup, expected phone and voice-AI usage, and any support separately. Call volume, call length and integrations can change the answer.

Compare the same period of use, including setup, GST treatment, included allowances and overages. A smaller monthly bill is not automatically a lower first-year total.

What improves over time

We plan to improve OwnStack’s capabilities as we build and test them. Calendar connections, new handoffs and wider workflows are separate scope, not features you should count on today. Buy for the job the assistant can do now.

Hear it before you decide

Call 07 4429 8740 to speak with OwnStack’s AI assistant. Calls are recorded and logged; confirmed enquiries are saved. A supplied name and email may be passed to our contact form, which may email that address. Don’t share sensitive information. Standard call charges may apply.

Then tell us what your calls usually need. If a broader platform is the better fit, we’ll say so.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Is Sophiie A$400 a month?
The Sophiie information page checked on 26 October 2026 advertises Growth at A$399/month excluding GST, plus A$800 excluding GST for setup. It also lists other plans. Public pricing pages may differ or change; confirm the current plan, currency, allowances and terms directly with Sophiie.
Is OwnStack always cheaper?
No blanket saving is promised. A narrowly scoped assistant is intended to be a lower-cost option, but setup, call usage, integrations and support all affect the total. OwnStack has no published package price yet. Compare a written quote against the platform plan that actually fits your needs.
Does OwnStack do everything Sophiie does?
No. Our current example answers questions and captures confirmed enquiries. Sophiie advertises a wider platform covering bookings, scheduling, quoting, invoicing and other office tasks. If you need those capabilities today, it may be the better fit.
Can I hear the OwnStack assistant?
Call 07 4429 8740. You will speak with OwnStack's AI assistant. Calls are recorded and logged, and confirmed enquiries are saved. Don't share sensitive information. This example serves OwnStack; configuring an assistant for your business is separate work.
